WARNING:

 
It has been brought to my attention that some buyers of items have been attempting to steal money from
people selling Volkswagen vehicles on this and other web sites. The buyers are sometimes out of state or
outside the USA. They offer to buy the vehicle and pay more than the asking price. Then the buyer asks the
seller to deposit their check and send the difference to a "shipping company". The buyer's check then bounces
and the seller loses the money they sent to the "shipping company" which was not a real company.
Sometimes the buyer does not use a "shipping company" and simply shows up at the seller's location with a 
check for more than the selling price. The buyer then tells the seller the bank made a mistake and to
just write the buyer a check for the difference. The Buyer then takes the check and the vehicle and leaves the
seller with a check that bounces so the seller is out their money and vehicle.
Please remember that Transactions between buyer and seller are their own responsibility. 
I assume no responsibility or liability for such transactions. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that before accepting
any form of payment from a buyer the seller should contact their local bank and find out about what forms 
of payment are safer than others and how a seller can guard against losses due to bounced checks.
Ask your bank how long a check from out of state or outside the USA takes to clear the bank and incorporate
that time into the conditions of your sale. Above all BE CAREFUL about your dealings with others.

Service history till 2007 (Serviced by previous owner privately) 186,000 miles (Not bad for its age and Golfs go on forever) . Battery is new. All fluids at correct levels. Central locking. Bad points: Couple of rust spots (shown in pictures). Bodywork has some rust and not in perfect condition. Air-con needs re-gassing. All new paint, except engine compartment, never found time to complete engine compartment. Painted ford chrome yellow, Euro headlights, euro clear corner lights, colored gauge faces, konig 16" Elan wheels w/ nitto tires. ABD Zender replica Body kit. American Bumpers. 200 AMP Alt. upgrade. All wheel bearings have been replaced. New clutch cable, modified air box, power wires upgraded. Single wiper conversion, with a 81 motor assembly. Suspension: AVO Custom Full Coilovers, Vr6 Spring were used in the rear of the vehicle to compensate for additional weight added by the audio system, coilovers have dampening adjustment and height adjustment, newer upper bearings Willwood 4 piston brake upgrade w/ cadmium plated slotted rotors AUDIO SYSTEM: 2 pair soundstream spl 6.5 components, 8 soundstream Rubicon 12" subs, 7" panasonic widescrean tv panasonic DVD player, pioneer DEH-p8000r indash cd/am/fm radio, Code alarm multi channel security system, which controls multiple remote functions, home VHS System, and TV tuner, with TV antenna built into the vehicle, REAR View Camera, 1 soundstream pure class A 10.2 , 1000 watts, 1 Kicker 200? I think. At least 200 watts for highs, (2) 800 cranking amp batteries in trunk, (4) 1-farad caps. Multiple lighting throughout, remote control motorized amp racks that rotate down from the sides of the trunk, remote control lighting control, internal siren pain generator, entire interior re-upholstered, doors fiberglassed to house 2 pair components, 2 recaro seats, drivers has slight wear in leather bolster, one ding paint chip on entire car.
